A huge U-turn for Anwar

Anwar and his 'League of Shadows'
AFTER stating that he will consider on boycotting the Angkat Sumpah ceremony in Dewan Rakyat before, Opposition Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim made a huge U-turn today.

Although "not satisfied" with the results of General Election-13 (GE-13), Anwar confirmed that all 89 Pakatan MPs will attend the ceremony in the Parliament building on June 24.

The Permatang Pauh MP said there is a misunderstanding on the matter, because they just decided to boycott the trip briefing last week

"In the spirit of parliamentary democracy, we decided to attend the first day of the parliamentary session," he said at a press conference at the Headquarters of the People's Justice Party (PKR).

Previously, in a briefing to members of the House of Representatives, only one opposition MPs present, the Bakri MP from DAP, Er Teck Hwa.

Before this, Anwar was mulling the issue of a probable boycott of the opening session of the 13th Parliament to back widespread suspicions over the legitimacy of the May 5 general election and has refused to submit parliamentary questions.

Then why suddenly he changed his mind by deciding to go? Is it  because Pas and DAP MPs are willing to go and he feared that by boycotting, it will make himself look like a total asshole? All his mambo-jumbo of spirit of democracy is overrated.
