Another fatwa, another absurdity

ANOTHER 'fatwa' squirted from a non ulama Pas leader. This time, their veep, Datuk Husam Musa screaming at the top of his lungs, saying that Muslims who die while participating Blackout 505 rally, this Saturday will die as martyrs.

Yet another absurdity being recognized by the Islamic party for something that is so ambiguous for its struggle. Another loss for the ever long struggle of hudud and Islamic state. The only clear message of the rally is - Anwar's retribution after losing his chance to be Prime Minister.
This rally will not represent the people's struggle. It is only for the sake of the likes of pro-Anwar Pas leaders including Husam himself; Pas other veep, Datuk Mahfuz Omar and Shah Alam MP, Khalid Abdul Samad.

It is a palable fact that it is for Anwar's political survival and of cause, the oppostion's own interest to drag its supporters to the streets. It is somehow a clear effort to create mob mentality.

Pas have made it clear before this that the party recognized the General Election's result and will be at the Dewan Rakyat this Monday for the Angkat Sumpah ceremony.

So, why Husam suddenly come up with this kind of fatwa? It is clear that he is trying to do a maneuver to create a huge hullabaloo among the Pas leader's decision on the election issue, but why? Is his 'sore loser' self finally showing?

Let's hear it from other ulama Pas leaders including their Deputy Spiritual Leader, Datuk Dr. Haron Din and ulama leader, Harun Taib after this. We need to know.
