KHAIRY Jamaluddin's position as UMNO Youth Leader is now on limbo. Despite the Youth and Sport Minister's claim of "still considering" wether to defend his political post or the other way around, UMNO Youth Asistant Secretary, Datuk Megat Firdouz Tan Sri Megat Junid said it's OK if the top UMNO Youth post be contested.

When most Malays thought that Khairy's rise to power is simply because Pak Lah's premiership, some conscious minded parties have the gut feeling that somehow, based on the Rembau MP's dexterity and charisma, he's a qualified but nascent politician.

Khairy, 37, has been all over the headlines for quite some time. Knowing the ropes of every blantant lie told by his enemies, he is one prepared man for the job. Che'gu Bard is just another dust on Khairy's coat.
But eventually, after he claimed that he is a Malaysian minister not a Malay one, surely there's a lot of his excos wouldn't pretend to make no bones about it. I'm guessing that some excos - especially those who climbed the excruciating stairs of effort to be in their position right now, are not happy.

From my view, Megat Firdouz and other UMNO excos believe that every cloud has a silver lining, a new start and a new political shift. Let's see what the next assembly have to offer!
